Backpacking to Baguio City

Accommodations Featured General Places

Last weekend, my friends and I decided to visit Baguio City for a little cam whoring. Equipped with our cameras, lenses and a backpack of weekend clothes, we left Metro Manila midnight of Friday.  We took the last de luxe trip of Victory Liner going to Baguio City.

Finding a place to stay in Baguio was not so hard. An officer from the Department of Tourism assisted us (for 50.00) in finding a hotel. He drove to the different hotels in the city until we were able to find our final choice, Hotel Supreme Convention Plaza.

The entire weekend trip was not really planned thoroughly. We planned on going to Baguio on the weekend but none of us checked for hotels to stay or search the internet for places to visit. Thanks to my GPS and Google Maps for teaching us where to go and where to eat.

I’ll be doing a more elaborate post about Baguio soon.

My wife and I really wanted to make a Baguio trip this long weekend. Haven’t been up there in years and certainly not since I got married.

And we should definitely make this road trip before the Ad Congress in November.

    Cheers,
    Gil
