Eden Nature Park in Davao City

Eden Nature Park maybe is one of the best places to see when visiting Davao City.  Eden Nature Park and Resort is situated at the foot of Mt. Talomo, roughly around 3000-ft above sea level.  This mountain resort is famous for its cool climate, fresh food and green vegetation. The resort offers the best view of the beautiful Davao Gulf.  Behind the mountain resort lies the majestic Mt. Apo.  Eden’s cool weather is consistent all year round.

Aside from the beautiful views and sceneries, the resort is also perfect for relaxation.  The resort offers hotel rooms, cottages, function rooms, camp sites, and other ammenities perfect for different occassions.  They also offer different activites like hiking, trecking, resort tour, fishing, and zipping (zip line).

During the DFAT1 last year, the group tried riding Eden’s Sky Rider, which at that time is the only zip line in Davao City. The entire ride is a round trip between two points across the pine forest of Eden.  The experience was breath-taking especially on the part wherein you have to climb the steel platform.

The best part in visiting Eden for me is their food. Yes, food. Eden uses the freshest herbs and vegetables from their own gardens.  Aside from the resort business, majority of the lands within the resort are occupied with orchards, vegetable plantations and organic farms.
